Thank you to all who attended Celebrate You 2026.

The Show & Share was an incredible display of talent, the stories were entertaining, and the audience’s appreciation was evident from their applause and attention.  These photos capture just a few of the magical moments, and we’ll be sharing more on our website soon.

We were delighted to have

our friends, Fred & Liana join our Celebrate You event.

Located at 110 Main Street N, Uxbridge, they offer sewing machine service, support and sales, scissor sharpening, as well as education in sewing machines, embroidery machines & software, serging, and general sewing.

They have over 35 years in the home-sewing machine industry and are super friendly too!

Lyne M. shared photos of the quilts she completed just in time for the arrival of twins in her family in Vancouver. Lyne very creatively used patterns from Tilda's World to make these adorably unique quilts for Casper and Norah, her grandchildren.

From your beloved Editor ....

As Norine mentioned earlier, Celebrate You 2026 was a huge success. It was the biggest quilting event in all the explored universe so far in 2026. We were so pleased to have so many of you attend and show your beautiful creations to the rapturous accolades of your fellow quilty people. Since becoming a part of Quilters Cupboard I have been so impressed about how quilting is more of a community than just a hobby. Seeing everyone's enthusiasm and appreciation for the craft left me thinking maybe I should actually learn something about it. Maybe. Sounds kind of difficult for a left-handed chromatically challenged retiree with no artistic talent. I'll just try to pay more attention when I'm wondering around the shop - maybe something will sink in! No promises.

I'm in New Brunswick for a few days hanging out with Assistant Editor Murphy. See you at the shop soon.
