Good evening San Gabriel,
To prevent the further transmission of COVID-19,
Los Angeles County has issued a new directive known as "Safer At Home."
Permitted activities:
You may perform essential activities, such as picking up groceries, picking up medication and healthcare supplies
Note: supplies of groceries are expected to remain available to the community. Items that are not available are expected to be replenished in the coming days.
You may walk, hike or bike outside and participate in outdoor activities that do not involve groups of individuals while practicing social distancing
Restricted activities:
You may not go to work unless you are providing essential services
You may not visit friends or family if there is no urgent need
You may not visit loved ones in the hospital, nursing home, skilled nursing facility or other residential care facilities
You may not gather in groups larger than 10 individuals
You may read the "Safer at Home" order from the County

The City has also proclaimed a
local emergency in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The emergency proclamation allows the City to access state and federal resources to help respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
