To prevent the further transmission of COVID-19, Los Angeles County has issued a new directive known as "Safer At Home."

Permitted activities: 

  • You may perform essential activities, such as picking up groceries, picking up medication and healthcare supplies
  • Note: supplies of groceries are expected to remain available to the community. Items that are not available are expected to be replenished in the coming days.
  • You may walk, hike or bike outside and participate in outdoor activities that do not involve groups of individuals while practicing social distancing

Restricted activities: 

  • You may not go to work unless you are providing essential services
  • You may not visit friends or family if there is no urgent need
  • You may not visit loved ones in the hospital, nursing home, skilled nursing facility or other residential care facilities
  • You may not gather in groups larger than 10 individuals

The City has also proclaimed a local emergency in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The emergency proclamation allows the City to access state and federal resources to help respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
