A few reminders about Volunteering:
Volunteers will receive free parking, shuttle service from the parking lot, and lunch.
We will provide t-shirts for volunteers to wear and keep after the event.
The majority of volunteer activities require being on your feet for most of your shift, so if this isn't possible, you may not want to volunteer.
You may sign up for as many shifts as you wish for one or both days.
If you're interesting in being selected as an author escort, signing up for more than one shift increases your chances of being an escort and is a great help in scheduling. (Note: We always need more escorts for mid-day and afternoon shifts!)
New Age Policy this Year! Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age - however, we will now accept volunteers aged 15 - 17 as long as they are volunteering along side their parent or guardian. So, if you've wanted your teen to volunteer with you - this year we're making that possible for our adult volunteers with teens aged 15-17.
