Welcome to the latest issue of Weekly Waves!
I know for many of you, your “happy place” is a warm, sunny island, where white sandy beaches, the sound of lapping waves, and beachside attendants take away your cares. I hope that for now you’ve found a temporary happy place at home – maybe a cozy nook where you can curl up with your laptop or a book; a vegetable, fruit or flower garden that needs tending; or maybe a porch or deck with a swing or comfy chair to enjoy the sunset or sunrise and relax with your favorite coffee or cocktail.
In this week’s Weekly Waves, we escape to beautiful Los Cabos. With its spectacular beaches, stunning views, incredible golf courses, and enchanting town square, Los Cabos has all the ingredients for the perfect island vacation.
In addition to stunning, luxury all-inclusive resorts, a trip to Los Cabos might include a visit to The Playa del Amor (Love Beach), a secluded beach with beautiful turquoise water and flawless golden sand; and a snorkeling, diving, fishing or glass-bottom boat excursion, as Cabo San Lucas is home to the oldest coral reef in North America and full of breathtaking flora and fauna.
When you’re ready to book your next beach escape, please call us at Cruise Dreams. Whether you’re looking for relaxation, adventure or a combination of both, we’ll recommend the ideal island and resort for you!
Waves to you and smooth sailings again soon,
Kim

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005)
Based on the popular quartet of books by Ann Brashares, this globe-trotting tale follows four best friends as they separate before their first summer in high school.
The group finds a pair of magical jeans that fit and flatter them all, despite their physical differences, and vows to send them to each other throughout the holiday. One of the four heads to South Carolina, another to Santorini in Greece, a third stays in Maryland, and the fourth heads to a football camp in Cabo San Lucas.
Bonus: If you liked this one...good news, part 2 is also available. This time around the famed sisterhood lives on while Bridget, Lena, Tibby and Carmen scatter across the country for their first year of college.

Surveys show that the margarita is the most popular drink ordered in bars and restaurants around the world.
The authentic margarita is mixed from Tequila, sour mix and triple sec (sweetened lime juice and Cointreau or Grand Marnier may also be used).
Today, about 60 percent of all the margaritas consumed are ordered on the rocks and 40 percent are frozen.

Camels are an iconic image of the red North African sands of the Sahara Desert. But did you know that camels also make their homes in Cabo San Lucas?
Cabo’s surrounding Baja Desert is the same latitude as the Sahara, with a similar climate, making it a great home for camels. Camels are gentle and friendly creatures. Most people don’t get much of a chance to interact with them, so a visit to Los Cabos is a perfect time to get
up-close and personal with this interesting animal.

2.
Situated at the southernmost tip of the Baja peninsula, Land's End is the location of the El Arco rock formation and marks the dramatic meeting spot of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez. Due to the striking beauty of the rock formation, it is one of the most treasured landmarks and is a popular highlight of several tourist activities.
According to geological estimates, the Land’s End Arch is remarkably old. The Atlas of Coastal Ecosystems reports this site’s oldest granite pieces are a whopping 84 million years in age.
