Lost River Career Cooperative is Building a Home In Paoli

The Lost River Career Cooperative began the build August 2021, the house is set to be completed May 2022.

The home has 1,850 sq. ft. of living space including a loft, main floor, and a full unfinished basement.

The house is 3 bedroom, and two bathrooms.

The students built the home using Fox Box insulated concrete forms to add to the home being extremely energy efficient and cost effective considering the rise in lumber prices over the last year.

The Lost River Career Cooperative's twenty students from Paoli have been working on this model home since August of 2021. Three class periods a day, these students range from Freshman to Seniors.

The Seniors involved in this build have been a part of the career cooperative Building and Trades class since they were freshman.

There will be an Open House Event held in June to celebrate the completion of the first model home that is paving the way for 25 homes by 2025.
