With contributions totaling more than $100,000 from Ann Tharpe & The Frances & Ronald Jaffee Foundation, the Education Foundation made a step toward a long-term sustainability by establishing an endowment at Indian River Community Foundation! These funds, along with other dollars raised from future outright & planned gifts, will be invested by the Community Foundation to support the mission and programs of the Education Foundation in perpetuity.
Now Make a Re-Occurring Gift to Education
We are pleased to announce the option to consider making your donation a monthly one for the next year. Help to become a partner in our mission to keep opening doors to success!

Here’s how your support can help:

$1 a week will keep a student on a path of learning with a new pair of sneakers and socks – Sneaker Exchange

$5 a month helps a student see their future with a new pair of eye glasses – Vision for Reading

$10 a month helps a student reinforce math, reading, writing and problem-solving skills through science exploration – Indian River Regional Science & Engineering Fair Program

$20 a month prepares four and five year old students for Kindergarten success with one week of enriched summer learning – STEP (Summer Transition Enrichment Program) into Kindergarten

$100 a month provides an entrepreneurial opportunity for school teams to pilot an innovative concept that advances student achievement.
