The B&B Team®, like many of you, have our traditions.
One of those traditions is our upcoming weekend Better Way to Learn Innkeeping™ seminar at Iris Inn in Virginia. The other is that, following the seminar, all 10 members of The B&B Team® gather in Charlottesville for two days of meetings.
We discuss wide ranging topics including scheduling 25+ seminars for next year. We will review our valuation methodologies and the formulas behind them while asking ourselves, "Is this still working as intended?" Fundamentally we know it does, but we're always looking for ways to tweak it, make it better. As the industry changes, so must our approach, and since we have more data than anyone, we can base our decisions on facts.
We will review all of the marketing we do to assess whether the various venues are returning value to us and, therefore, to our clients. Are we missing something? Should we be focusing elsewhere? We'll discuss our sponsorship and attendance at various conferences, from AIHP to BLLA and what we've learned along the way. And we'll discuss the importance of what we do in collaboration with lenders to help make transactions happen.
In short, just like innkeepers work hard for your guests, we're working hard for our clients and to support the industry we love. We might not have a newsletter next week because of our meetings, but we'll be back the following week. Thanks for your loyalty and support!
