Children's Church this Sunday! Children are invited to follow the cross after the Collect and return during the peace. A lesson and activity will help our children grow in faith and grace. Please contact Brenning Daughtridge if you are interested in volunteering to help teach this important ministry for our children.

Nursery is available during the service for the very little ones. Please see an usher for information.

The Bishop is Coming! We welcome Rt. Rev. Samuel Rodman, Bishop of the Diocese of North Carolina on September 29

Adult Confirmation Class The class will meet from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Parlor each Sunday until the Bishop's visit on Sept. 29. If you are interested and want more information, click here

Choir Rehearsal Schedules

The Cherub and Alleluia Choirs will rehearse together on Wednesdays for thirty minutes beginning at 5:15 p.m.

The Alleluia Choir will rehearse for another thirty minutes after the rehearsal with the Cherub Choir, finishing at 6:15 p.m.

The Good Shepherd Choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and is open to all adults and high school students.

Morning Prayer is back on Wednesdays at noon in the library. Please plan to join us for a time of quiet devotion.

Tuesdays on the Town

Do plan to join us at the next two Tuesdays on the Town, this Tuesday September 24 and October 8. We will meet in the usual location, between Hop Fly and Goat Island.

I'm Oscar Seale and I am a Life Scout in Troop 5 here in Rocky Mount. I'm fundraising for my Eagle Scout project, which is to build storage for the Day School to hold supplies.

On Saturday, September 21, I will be having a car wash at Good Shepherd from 11 am to 2 pm. I will be accepting any cash donations for supplies to build the cabinet or things to stock the cabinet such as donations of wipes, toys, diapers, books, gently used children's clothing, etc.
