What is Yoga Nidra?
Also known as yogic sleep, Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice intended to induce full-body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness. Yoga Nidra unwinds the nervous system
In Yoga Nidra, you leave the waking state, go through the dreaming state, and into deep sleep while remaining fully awake.

What is the most important thing yoga has taught you? 
Yoga has taught me how to be honest with others and, more importantly, with myself. Always speak your truth, but do so without causing harm.

What is your favorite pose and why?   
Puppy pose is my favorite because it releases my lower back and lengthens my spine. I basically love all backbends...and of course boat and chair.
Describe your teaching style in 3 words.
Playful - Surprising - Thoughtful
What is the best piece of advice you have for new yogis?
Be patient and allow the pose to develop in your body. Don't force the pose, rather allow the pose to find you.

What do you like to do off the mat?   
Read, paint, spend time with my sidekick Hadley, and my hubby Tim.
