Author event celebrates "The Inner Philosopher," the latest from Dialogue Path Press!
On September 21, an overflow crowd of more than 150 people gathered at the Ikeda Center to hear Lou Marinoff talk about The Inner Philosopher: Conversations on Philosophy's Transformative Power (Dialogue Path Press, 2012). Co-authored by Dr. Marinoff and Daisaku Ikeda, The Inner Philosopher revives philosophy as an accessible source of wisdom and courage, connecting Shakyamuni Buddha, Aristotle, Confucius, the Stoics, and others to the challenges of creating and living good, contributive lives in the 21st century. During his remarks, Marinoff suggested that often what is wrong with us is not spending enough time on what is right with us.
