General Conference Registration

Louisiana AEM's FREE virtual conference is being held October, 26-30th. General conference registration covers all sessions Mon-Fri with the exception of the 2-day CVI training. Sessions will be conducted via Zoom. The conference is organized each day into the following strands:

Monday - Augmentative and Alternative Communication

Tuesday - Assistive Technology

Wednesday - Deaf/Hard of Hearing

Thursday - Vision (Note CVI session requires separate registration)

Friday - Vendor Showcase (Note CVI session requires separate registration)

CLU certificates will be provided.
Strands allow you to focus on sessions that support your specialty.
Vendor showcase will spotlight current trends in assistive technology devices and services.

CVI Session Registration

2-Day CVI Session

We are pleased to offer, as part of our conference, training on Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI). The 2-day session "Evaluation, Teaching Materials and Strategies for Students with Cortical Visual Impairment", presented by Diane Sheline, will take place (Thursday Oct. 29th and Friday Oct. 30th). This session requires a separate registration. Space is limited to 100 and preferential registration is given to Louisiana Educators.

6 ACVREP credits are available for participants who complete both full days of this session.

LA-AEM would like to thank APH and Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind for sponsoring this training.

Participants interested in the 2-day CVI sessions MUST register for the CVI Workshop in addition to the general conference using the link above.
