NFL DRAFT 2025

Dear OLOL Parents,

We are in urgent need of volunteers to assist with parking for the upcoming Packer Draft event. This is a crucial fundraising opportunity for the school, and we need your help to ensure its success!

There are still many open slots, we have reached out to non-parents and members of the Knights of Columbus for assistance—meaning some parents may miss out on the opportunity to earn their TSF hours.

Even if you can’t commit to a full shift, partial shifts are welcome! Any amount of time you can offer will help us tremendously.

 Volunteer Parking Details:

  • Entrance: Volunteers should enter off of Borvan Ave
  • Parking: Available at the distillery

Thank you for your time and support! Your help ensures that OLOL continues to thrive, and we truly appreciate your generosity.

From Our Lady of Lourdes School

Hello OLOL Families,

I hope that you had a joyful Easter week-end.

I would like to begin by thanking you for your patience and support while I celebrated my 30th wedding anniversary. I didn't like being away from school for that long but Jennifer and I felt we needed to celebrate our 30 years as we have never taken a trip like this. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The big news this week is the NFL draft is coming to Green Bay. I've had discussions with Father Jim about the week and we both feel that we are far enough away that it won’t impact us. We have never had this experience which makes it a little bit of an unknown. We will be monitoring the situation all week and will make changes if need be.

Middle School Parents (Change for students who ride the bus on April 24 & 25)

  • Due to a bussing decision at Lamers and approved by GRACE, there will be only one afternoon bus time (3:10PM) on Thursday, April 24 and Friday, April 25.
  • All middle school students will be dismissed at their normal 2:42PM time, but bussing will not be available until 3:10PM.
  • The middle school students who plan to ride the bus on April 24 & 25 will be supervised by faculty and staff until dismissal.

Our annual Bounce into Summer event is on the calendar. It will be Saturday, May 31st. School students will handle the liturgical parts of the Saturday 4:30PM Mass. Following mass, we will have bounce houses and food trucks on the playground. We are inviting all of our new OLOL families that will be joining us for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a great chance for you to introduce yourselves and meet our new families.

Speaking of the 2025-2026 school year we have 250 students enrolled for next year. Thanks to all that have helped us grow enrollment! We are so blessed.

OLOL School Library News

Children’s Book Week is May 5- May 11.

We are going to celebrate by having a Book Swap amongst the students.

Would your child like some different books to read? Do you have books at home that your child has read and doesn’t want any more?

Each student can bring 1-3 books to the school starting Friday, May 2, until Wednesday, May 7. I’ll record how many they bring. On Friday morning (May 9), students will be called to the library to choose that many books to take

home from the books contributed.

I’m hoping our Book Swap is a big success and the kids enjoy it.

Mrs. Brys
