Dear OLOL School Families,
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! This is the third consecutive year in which we have an abundance of new students and families. If you have any questions, please know our teachers, staff, administration and existing OLOL families are here to help. The information in this packet will hopefully get you started during the first couple of weeks.
New Family Orientation
- All new OLOL families will meet in the parish social hall on Tuesday, August 12th at 6:30PM.
- We ask that children/students not attend this evening as important information regarding the school year is provided.
- Returning families with preschool and kindergarten students do not need to attend.
Back-to-School/Supply Drop-off/Picture Night
- Back-to-school night is Thursday, August 21st from 4:00-6:30 PM.
- Students will drop-off their school supplies, meet their teachers, and get their 2025-2026 school picture taken. Students do not need to be in uniform.
- You are welcome to drop off any completed forms to the school office that night.
- Middle School orientation for 5th grade students and new middle school students (6th - 8th grade) will be at 4:00pm on August 21st. All 5th graders and new middle students (6th - 8th grade) are required to attend. We will meet in Mrs. Sharon Johnson’s room (second floor - room 210).
First day of School
- K-8th grade students' first day will be Monday, August 25th. School hours for all students will be 8:00AM - 3:00PM.
- 4 year-old preschool students - The first day for the 5 day program will be Tuesday, September 2nd. Hours are 8:00AM - 3:00PM for full days and 8:00 - 11:30AM for half-days
- 4 year-old preschool students - The first day for the 3 day program will be Wednesday, September 3rd. Hours will be 8:00 - 3:00 PM for the full day program and 8:00 - 11:30AM for the half-day program
- 3 year-old preschool students' first day will be Tuesday, September 2nd. The hours are 8:00 - 11:30 AM
Forms and information included
- We have included instructions on how to access PowerSchool. Please review your contact information and make any necessary changes using your Powerschool account. This is important to ensure you receive all communication.
- We included information regarding free and reduced lunch If you are eligible please complete these forms.
- We included information regarding Virtus training. If you are planning on volunteering you need to complete this training.

I personally would like to thank you for enrolling your child(ren) at OLOL. There are many options available to you for your child’s educational needs. I accept the tremendous responsibility of ensuring that we educate your children in a manner that leads to success in their personal, academic, and spiritual lives for years to come.
