Lourdes Letter

Dear OLOL Families,

As we transition the role of school principal from Mr. Young to Mrs. Nejedlo, we would like to share some information from Mrs. Nejedlo. While she has been employed with GRACE/Our Lady of Lourdes School as a Supportive Consultant, if you have not met her or worked with her, we would like to introduce you.

This information was also shared with OLOL parishioners via Flocknotes and as an insert in last weekend's parish bulletin.

News from the School Library

We will be doing the Summer Reading Challenge again this year.

Each grade level has a different reading goal. We are trying to encourage students to read over the summer to help avoid the “summer slide”.

Slips need to be returned by Monday, August 31. Those completing their sheet will receive a dress down day certificate and an award keychain. The grade with the highest percentage of participation will receive a free recess. If your child loses their sheet, you can email me at sbrys@gracesystem.org and I will email a new one to you.

If your child has not returned their books; please do so immediately. Thanks for your cooperation in getting books returned. We need to inventory all the books before the end of the year.
