Dear OLOL Families,
I have three exciting pieces of information regarding the OLOL staff. Both updates filled my heart with great joy.
First, Mrs. Jenna Yost has agreed to stay on as a permanent kindergarten teacher. Not only is it for this year but for the years to come. Mrs. Yost brings a wealth of kindergarten experience into the classroom. I would like to thank the OLOL families for making Mrs. Yost feel welcome and making the decision for her a little easier. She realized how much she missed the classroom after being our long-term sub to start the year. We permanently welcome Mrs. Yost to the OLOL family!
In order to fill the role of interventionist, Mrs. Pahl will be extending her day and work as an interventionist in the afternoons after she concludes her morning role as the 4th grade teacher. She started this role a few weeks ago but will be taking it on permanently as of this week. We are blessed to have her here in this important role.
Our other big staff news is that Mrs. Lambert and her husband are expecting their first child in April. We are excited for both of them as they start their family. The next time you see Mrs. Lambert, please pass along your prayers to her.
This year, OLOL, along with the entire GRACE system, is beginning the process of renewing our accreditation. We are accredited through the Wisconsin Religious and Independent School Association (WRISA), as required by the Green Bay Diocese and the state of Wisconsin for School Choice Schools. This self-study process is a meaningful opportunity for us to assess ourselves and ensure we continue to offer an exceptional, faith-centered education. Please stay tuned for more updates as we progress through this year.
The Star assessment report on the fall Star assessment our students took will go home on Wednesday, October 16th.
OLOL Catholic School thanks our friends at Hein Construction for performing a few tweaks on our playground structure to make it more safe. Thank you!!
