Editors Note...

During one of the Satsangs, when a devotee asked Swami what pleases Him the most, Swami answered by saying that if we lead a happy life, contended life, life of purity, that pleases Him the most. Swami went to say that a life of purity pleases Him, a life of selflessness pleases Him, and a life of contentment pleases Him. Our greatest strength lies when we lead a life which will please Him the most.

Swami's message to Sai Youth around the world this week:

"With one finger one cannot do much work. But with five fingers, so much can be achieved. You are all limbs of the society. Society itself is a part of the creation.  And creation is a part of Divinity. Vyasti to Samasti, Samasti to Srushti, Srushti to Parameshti. This is the way. As individuals, you are part of the society and you must work for the society. If you don't feel the suffering and pain of another brother and sister, then you are not going to do anything about it. Till you feel their hunger as your hunger, till you feel their pain as your pain, till you feel their suffering as your own suffering, it is not possible to get that courage to do things. Don't simply do it because Swami said it. Do it because you feel it from within. Then there is no going back. Swami says so many things. Some follow, some don't follow. But what comes from within, everybody follows. Nobody gives it up. When this becomes your nature, when it comes from within, you will have all the courage, all the ideas, all that you require will come your way to achieve. Then you are truly living like Swami!"

Yours in His Service,

Meals For The Factory Workers
It was just another Friday, a small group of Malaysian youths were casually sitting together after breakfast. They started talking on how they should really start taking Seva seriously, as Swami has always placed emphasis on the great significance of serving others. Bearing that in mind, the youths begun discussing on how they should do a small service activity that weekend. They decided that they would prepare packed vegetarian meals in the traditional way it is served in Malaysia. Then came the slightly bigger question, who should the food be distributed to? They couldn't just give food to anyone. They wanted to give them to those who really needed it. To those who worked hard, day and night, but did not get the necessary energy and daily requirement of nutrients.
