Satsangatve nissangatvam, nissangatve nirmohattvam,
Nirmohattve nischalatattvam, nischalatattve jeevanmuktih
This verse from Adi Shankaracharya’s Bhaja Govindam explains that the company of good people will ultimately lead to liberation. Good company is important, as it helps cultivate good qualities to begin with, which is essential for a good mind.
Swami’s message to the Sai youth around the world this week:
“The body is the temple of God. God is there in the body itself. If Divine qualities have to manifest in your personality, it is necessary you get into good company. Lot of people get into good company, but only their bodies are there in good company, mind is going elsewhere. The body is sitting quietly. The mind is roaming all around. If you get into a good company like this, it is of no use. What is mind? The mind is nothing but a bundle of thoughts. When you have pure thoughts, the mind becomes pure; when you think of God, it will become God mind. The way the mind is, the body and senses behave in the same way. Whatever water is there in the tank, that is what comes out of the taps. Whatever is your feeling, that is reflected in your life. If you want good feelings and good mind, good company is very important.”
Yours in Sai Service

It's been grace to do
Seva
with German brothers and sisters in an old age home. The youth have been doing this
Seva
for the past six months and have already collected so many experiences, it's incredible. The youth always think of achievements in terms of money, status and position, but at the end what they look for is small love. It shows how important it is to be compassionate with people and how important it is to have a good connection with friends, family and neighbours before it’s too late.

As swami says “Of all the righteous acts, help rendered to those needing it, is the most righteous.” I would like to share my experience from the Old age home.
For some time the Sai youth here in Munich have done
Seva
at an old age home. I have had the privilege to continuously play chess with one of the elderly. I visit the old age home every fortnight and I would always be greeted with a chess board. We play a couple of rounds of chess

World Youth Meet 2017
November 18 to 24
|
|
The World Youth Meet, like every year is indeed going to be a wonderful confluence of people from around the world and from many faiths! We are all very excited as we have begun preparations for the World Youth Meet.
The youth are the future of the world, and everyone's tomorrow is dependent on their today. The need-of-the-hour is to address their today holistically, for a better world tomorrow. The clarion call of Bhagawan, who has inspired the youth to lead ideal lives, has always been that of Unity, Purity and Divinity.
It is about One Global Youth Community for a better World. One Global Youth Community, irrespective of cast or creed, gender or geographies, races or religion is the way forward for a better World.
‘ONE WORLD, ONE YOUTH | Unity
– Purity – Divinity’, propagated by Bhagawan, is the theme for this year’s World Youth Meet. Unity (Unity of Thought, Word and Deed), Purity (Selfless Service and Selfless Love), and Divinity (Only Unity and Purity can lead to Divinity).
Following is the timeline schedule, along with other details. By Swami’s grace, more than 20 countries will be participating in the Youth Meet, including delegates from India.

Ganesh Chaturthi At Hague
|
|
During the week of 21 and 27 August, 2017 the “World Ganeshaa Foundation” in the Netherlands organised a Ganesha Festival during the auspicious week of Ganesh Chaturthi in the majestic city of the Hague in the Netherlands.
One of the events during the festival was a multi-cultural and multi-religious fair during the weekend of the 26 and 27 August, 2017 where different spiritual and religious societies and organisations (in different booths) could display their own activities and convey their message to the public. Even though the names and forms were many, the message of love was one and the same!

Launching of the New Website
|
|
The youth are very happy to be launching their new website for the Non-Governmental Organisation ‘Nectar of Love’ - the newly set up organisation under which they are carrying out their
Seva
activities. The website is available in both Greek and English, and is responsive across mobile, ipad and computer. The purpose of the website is mainly to increase awareness of their presence and inform people, municipalities, companies and organisations of their activities so that new collaborations can be made. You can view the website at:

European Youth Meet in Greece
An Enriching Experience !
|
|
|
I would like to narrate the enriching experiences of the three days spent in Greece for the second European Youth Meet, as requested by the King of Kings. The first one was in Munich, Germany and that too was unforgettable.
|
|
From Italy we were six people, and once there, we met with the youth from all over Europe. First of all I want to congratulate the Greek brothers for the organisation and the attention they offered to us. We were all in very good company for three days and during this time we shared experiences which taught us a lot.
