This fall we held our church ministry luncheon. It was so good to be together, and share a meal. Each church shared God's love stories about those we serve, and each shared their hopes and plans for the future.
We look forward to meeting again in early 2022!

Laundry Voucher Ministries -
So often we have neighbors who need clothing, bedding or other items that will need to be cleaned. Love INC has church partners who have filled the unspoken need of getting things laundered. Love INC fills gaps in our community with our church gap ministries. It is a blessing to be able to help neighbors not only with items they may need, but to go one step further and to assist in maintaining those items with dignity.
Pray for our partner churches as they help in our community.

7th Annual Golf Outing-September 10th, 2021 |

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our golf outing! We broke the mold with this one...30 golf teams, new sponsors and prizes galore!! We had so much fun and were able to share the Love INC Movement with our golfers and supporters. Thank you again to everyone - sponsors, donors, golfers, friends and our staff.

A big thank you to our Board of Directors for making a unanimous decision to invest in our office staff, sending us to our Love INC National Gathering. We were able to pause, reflect and meet others who serve the same mission across our country. Our hearts and minds were filled with God's goodness. We are excited to implement processes and programs we have learned over the 3 days in September. |

us about New Creation.
I have been a volunteer with Love INC for just over three years. I have been in the New Creation (Transformational Ministry) area for all of the time I have volunteered. I have helped in a variety of areas, mentoring, small group leader and jumping into other areas as needed. In speaking with Laurie (the current Executive Director), I really felt a calling to be able to make a difference in people's lives. New Creation ministry is different, in addition to meeting the immediate needs that people have in a physical sense, we are also feeding people spiritually through our focus on Jesus and our commitment to redemptive compassion. We all know that if significant change happens in our lives it’s because of the work of the Lord Jesus – we owe it all to Him. Through this ministry, my life has been changed, I have learned, as much as, I have helped others. When you become a member of the New Creation Ministry you are becoming part of a community where you are supported and you are called to support others as well.

Donna Alberta, Board Member - Presently on staff part-time as Director of Senior Care at her home church, Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian in Brighton, Donna previously served full-time at Cornerstone for many years in Women’s Ministries and Pastoral Care, and for a short while at Love INC as its Development Director. She holds a BA in English Literature from Rutgers - The State University of New Jersey and completed an academic enrichment program from the Colson Center for Christian Worldview. Donna presently teaches a weekly class for those 65+, called Off Our Rockers. The focus of the group is to promote purposeful and graceful living for aging Jesus followers. She also participates as a teacher in a Bible study offered to residents at Independence Village in Brighton.
A recent newcomer to the world of widowhood, Donna, is the mother of four beloved adult sons, four wonderful daughters-in-love, and thirteen grandchildren. Her leisure activities include gardening, golfing, and enjoying her growing family.

Kim, Resale Store Manager - I live in the Fenton area with my husband of 38 years. We have been blessed with 3 now-grown children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. My husband and I recently purchased an older travel trailer we are working on. We love camping and like a project to work on. I enjoy reading, cooking, hiking, camping and kayaking in my spare time. I am so thankful to be working at the Love INC Resale Store. I have met so many wonderful people and love sharing the mission and purpose of Love INC with people. This opportunity was certainly an answered prayer!

A NOTE FROM OUR DIRECTOR

Recently I have been blessed to experience how wonderfully God uses Love In the Name of Christ through the lives of volunteers and churches. A couple of months ago, Love INC held two special gatherings, a Volunteer Appreciation brunch and a Church Ministry luncheon. While listening as each of our church partners and volunteers shared their Love INC ministry work, my heart filled with wonder! The impact this ministry has in their lives, their church and the neighbors whom they have cared for, offer so many love stories of hope, relationships formed, and lives that are supported and encouraged! There is a sure awareness that God answers prayer through loving our neighbor. Above all, an understanding of how serving through this ministry continues to change who we are into Gods image. In view of the beauty of Gods ministry, Love In the Name of Christ, the Church surely shines His light, across our county, united in His purpose and love. “For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.” 2 Corinthians: 4
