When I'm asked "How many people work for Bounce?" I smile - and explain. While the payroll is only half a handful, many more
work
for Bounce.
That's a big - and important - difference. The Board of Directors, Trustees, Emerging Leaders Board, Hospital Partners, Program Partners, In-Kind Partners, Donors and countless volunteers and supporters 'step up' for Bounce daily. And theirs is a labor of true love!
What about Bounce families: did you know almost 1/4 of new Bounce families are referred by an existing member? There's proof we must be doing something right.
My heart has been filled with love and gratitude for the whole Bounce Community the entire month. I hope scrolling thru this newsletter will cause you to feel the same.
With love and gratitude -

Bounce Bash(R) Private Screening of
Wonder
~ double feature on March 3rd generously hosted by Grainger ~
|
|
Critics are raving about the hit movie. Based on the NYTimes bestseller, Wonder is the inspiring story of Auggie Pullman, a 5th grader with facial differences who enters a mainstream elementary school for the first time. See it because:
Wonder is the story of a Bounce Family:
* Auggie could be a Bounce Kiddo.
* Via, his sister, could be a Bounce Sibling.
* Isabel & Nate, their parents, could be Bounce Parents.

Many take going to a movie for granted. But a quiet theater filled with patrons who will stare when it's time to suction a trach or flush a g-tube, is simply not an option for others.
Thanks to the “heart” of Grainger, its employees, we will enjoy this amazing movie in a beautiful and accessible auditorium. Almost 200 have already signed up for fun, snacks, raffles, a
group activity echoing the kindness theme, and dinner.
A priceless experience that
parallels their lives. Like the Pullman's, Bounce families overcome hurdle after hurdle with strength, courage, kindness, humor, and dignity.
