Love Light Sunday
December 1

Join us as we celebrate Love Light Sunday on December 1, by reading the names honored in the affiliated worship services. Forms are due today by noon! Drop off, call or email the church office if you would like to submit a form. Proceeds collected will be divided between Brown Bag of Columbus, Open Door Community House, and Feeding Our Neighbors at Rose Hill.
Daily Advent Devotional Thoughts via Text

If you haven’t yet joined the church’s text messaging service, take a moment right now to join. Send ‘@epworth1’ to 81010 and enter your name. Ignore any questions after that. Beginning December 1, the pastor will be sending daily messages during the Advent season to keep us focused on getting ready for Christmas.
Poinsettias for Christmas

To purchase a red poinsettia for $15 each in memory or honor of a loved one, see the sign-up sheet in the church office window. The plants will be placed in the sanctuary through Christmas Eve. You are encouraged to pick up your poinsettias after one of the services. Deadline to order is Sunday, December 8.
Epworth Music Ministry to Present
Christmas Music December 15

Epworth’s talented music ministry teams will present our annual Advent and Christmas music at both services on December 15. This year, the program will be presented in the fellowship hall to take advantage of the fabulous acoustics. Invite friends and family to join us for this special program of music for the holiday season.
The Sock Tree Helps the Needed

The HIS UMW group is sponsoring a drive to collect men’s, women’s and children’s socks, mittens/gloves and hats/toboggans for Open Door and Damascus Way for distribution to the needy. Place your items on the “sock tree,” beginning Monday, December 2, in the fellowship hall. Donations need to be received by Sunday, December 15.
Christmas Eve Services

Join us on Tuesday, December 24, for our candlelight communion services at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. We will worship together in song, communion and in the hope of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
