aManda gifting a secret angel presentation at the 2015 Evolving + Emerging Economies Jam
We are writing to ask for your love and support for aManda Greene.
A beloved friend, daughter, sister, teacher, and social justice warrior, aManda is an alumni of the 2015 Evolving + Emerging Economies Jam and currently serves on the Board of Directors for YES!.
Just eight weeks ago, aManda was well and working whole-heartedly for the benefit of youth as the co-founder and co-director at Youth Impact Hub Oakland. Suddenly, and with little explanation of what triggered it, she fell ill and had been in and out of doctor visits and hospitals. A few weeks ago, she was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroendocrine Cancer.
As part of her Jamily and community, we are inviting your help in raising funds so she can acquire treatments with ease and follow the path of self-care that she chooses. You can learn more at the GoFundMe campaign set up here.
We ask for your support in making a donation, spreading the word, sending prayers and love, and whatever else you can do to support her in this journey. Everything helps and everything counts.
YES! connects, inspires, and collaborates with young and intergenerational leaders for a thriving, just and regenerative world. Our weekly JAM is meant to serve the alumni of our programs and our wider community of supporters and partners. We have four features in rotation: a profile of one of our Jam alums, a process/activity from our facilitation toolbox, a program promotion or update, and an artistic creation or secret angel presentation from a Jam.
Please email us at info@yesworld.org if you would like to learn more!
(And, if you prefer to only get the twice-a-year update from YES!, feel
free to update your profile below.)
