Come and bring others to the Christmas Pageant
Join us thisSaturday, December 17 at 5:00 PM for "Love Came Down," our musical Christmas pageant. It is the story of three siblings who are missing a friend and are feeling alone. But they soon learn that "love came down" for just that reason -- to make sure we are never alone! A wonderful blend of our modern day and the traditional Nativity story, this is a night of praise and worship you won't want to miss. Nursery care provided.
Be the Heart & Hands of Jesus
Purchase an ornament from the Giving Tree
In the milling area of our worship building, the Giving Tree is decorated with ornaments made by Christ Church children. Take a handmade ornament from the tree, make a financial contribution, and become part of Hope and Resurrection Secondary School -- a hope-inspiring project that is changing lives in South Sudan.

This candlelight service is intimate and artistic, celebrating the mystery of the incarnation of Christ. With quotes, poems, and pastoral reflection, this service features our youth choir.

Provide Radical Hospitality
Serve on Christmas Eve and attend a brief training
Did you know that each of our services on Christmas Eve, over half of those attending are visitors? We are in need of worship volunteers, especially ushers and chalice-bearers at our 1:30 PM service. Please consider volunteering as an act of radical hospitality.

Then please make plans to attend a brief meeting this Sunday, December 18 at 12:00 PM. This meeting is for all team leaders of worship volunteer ministries to receive needed information about Christmas Eve services. All volunteers are welcome to attend, ensuring that we will offer radical hospitality at all services. We encourage Head Ushers, Acolyte Masters, Altar Guild, Readers, Bread Distributors and Chalice Bearers, Greeters, and those helping with distribution of hand-held candles to attend. If you cannot attend please contact Rev. Robin with any questions and to receive needed information.

BE THE CHURCH
Our Advent theme of Heaven Touching Earth reminds us that God blesses us to be a vision-focused church. Click below to learn more about the 10-year goal and rally cry of Christ Church.
End-of-year giving
If you're able to consider a special end-of-year gift to a charity, I ask you to give to Christ Church to put fuel behind our new vision: Be the Church. In 2015, we were able to achieve some temporary savings by not filling the Faith Formation director's position. But, now it's time to have three clergy again as we see an increase in demand for Faith Formation of all ages and an increase in the clergy load as new people come up in years and others experience the labor of being the sandwich generation. You may write your check to CCE and mark in the memo: gift for vision. OR YOUR MAY CLICK HERE TO GIVE ONLINE. Thank you! - Rev. Shirley
Holiday Office Hours
The Christ Church office will be closed Friday, December 23-Tuesday, December 27. Happy Holidays!
