• Click for a good Black History Month resource: Early Methodists were anti-slavery. Over time, we were segregated by race, only to join back together again in 1939 with a new form of segregation that was ultimately removed in 1968 with the merger of the Evangelical United Brethren and the Methodist Church. Today, we continue this journey as we seek to become anti-racist in our ministry.
