Lovejoy Robotics
Lovejoy Robotics competed back on January 16th and did an amazing job representing and making it to the championship round. We took 5 teams to the Redwater, TX VRC Change Up Tournament, and of those 5 teams, 1082E and 1082C fought hard all day and ended as finalists! This is 1082C’s 2nd time being a tournament finalist and 1082E’s first time. Another big accomplishment was 1082E winning the Design Award, which is a top tier award given to a team with an excellent robot build and engineering notebook. We are #LovejoyProud of all the students who competed! Pictured below from left to right we have 1082C: Madeline Coughlin, Daniel Khalil, Alyssa Vaughn, Joel Walenciak, Luke Whitfill, and 1082E from left to right we have: Brock Gay, Alex Tranchina, Drew Kurtenbach, Jacob Keane and Alec Miksa.
