A Message from the Principal
October 15, 2019

Parents and Guardians,
It's Homecoming Week at LHS, and kids are set to have a fun and busy four days of school. Along with each of our themed dress-up days for the week, students will have their annual Powder Puff and Mr. Lovejoy competitions on Thursday (details below). On Friday, the festivities continue with a pep rally and students will have the opportunity to wear their Homecoming Mum to school. We know these kinds of events are what students remember after they graduate and are excited for this week!
Also, all 9th-11th grade students will be taking the PSAT tomorrow. All 9th -11th grade students will report to their assigned rooms to take the PSAT test at 8:45 a.m. tomorrow, and they are typically finished around 12:30 p.m. Please have your student bring a couple of sharpened #2 pencils and a calculator for the test. Since our Seniors are not testing tomorrow, they will not need to attend school until their first class begins at 1:00 p.m. Seniors who have Dual Credit in the morning will be responsible to coordinate with their professors about class expectations.
Please take a few minutes to review the information below about important dates and events.

It is intended to demonstrate what students know and can do as they prepare to graduate. It prepares them for college and/or the workplace and can help them transform their senior year into one that is uniquely challenging and stimulating. The Senior Project is performance based and adaptable to most topics of interest.
