A Message from the Principal
September 28, 2020

Parents and Guardians,

I don’t know about you, but it doesn’t seem possible that October is almost here. Every school year feels like it goes quicker than the one before, and this year is no exception. We are entering the 7th week of the school year and next Thursday marks the end of the first grading period.

This Friday, October 2nd is our first Early Release with the school day ending at 1:00 p.m. Classes have been reduced from 90 minutes to 45 minutes on that day so that all of them can meet. A bell schedule for Friday can be found below. As a reminder, students will begin lunch at 12:15 and are able to leave campus at that time if they have transportation. Student’s riding the bus will be picked up at 1:00 for their afternoon route.

As my email from Thursday announced, LHS will be ending the hybrid model of instruction at the end of the first grading period. Beginning Oct. 13th all students who selected the on-campus learning option will attend face to face instruction 5 days a week. If you missed the announcement, you can read it here.

Please read below for more information about events as well as campus and district information.

Have a great week.
