DI DIgest
The weekly newsletter of Downtown Indiana
Thank you to the employees of  S&T Bank  for sprucing up downtown Indiana! As part of  S&T Bank 's Community Giveback program, empoloyees volunteer with a variety of nonprofits. It's part of an effort to give back to the communities in which S&T employees live and do business. The volunteers picked up litter and debris in the 800 block of Philadelphia Street, along North and South 8th Street and even had time to tidy up the S&T parking lots! Thank you for participating in our  Downtown Indiana  Adopt-A-Block program and for keeping downtown beautiful!

Occupation
SVP/Sales and Business Development, InFirst Bank

What drew you to joining the board of Downtown Indiana?
InFirst Bank encourages and supports employees to volunteer within the communities we serve. Our banks mission closely mirrors the mission of Downtown Indiana, “to create a vital, attractive downtown area” and “advocating on behalf of business and property owners”. Maintaining a vibrant and active downtown benefits everyone that live and work in the area and I’m glad I’ve been able to play a small part by joining this board.

On what DI committees/event committees do you serve?
Currently I am on the Membership and Wine Walk Committees, as well as volunteer to assist at other events as needed.

What is your favorite thing about downtown?
As almost everyone mentions, I too love the variety of shops and restaurants available in our downtown. I also love the continual events and functions throughout the year that draw visitors in that hopefully return to shop and dine.
