Learn how to sing songs, share rhymes, and engage your little ones from ages 0-18 months. A socializing and play time will occur

A different story-time format each week.
It may be a craft, a dance party, or making a delicious snack! Ages 2-6 with a caregiver. Limit 24 children, first come basis.

A guest speaker from Center of Empowerment will speak healthy relationships from 5:30-6:00PM. At 6:00PM, we will begin our Annual Poetry Slam with guest judges from the Mobile Family Success Center. There will be refreshments!

Total Tutoring

Is your child struggling in school? Are other tutoring centers not working? Then join Total Tutoring today! It is run by high school students who want to give back to the community by helping our future leaders excel.
Tutoring is available for students in grades K-10 in math, science, English, history and world language. Register online at the Total Tutoring website, Please arrive at the beginning of the session.
  • All students must bring their own school materials to sessions.
  • This is a volunteer organization, so sessions are completely free of charge.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

The concept is simple,

Sign up at the Children's Reference Desk. 
Keep a log of each book you read with your baby, toddler, or preschooler. Earn prizes for every 25 books read and a free book for every 100 books!

The Sayreville Public Library circulates museum passes to
Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton,
the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum in NYC, and 
the Battleship New Jersey in Camden.

Please note: Grounds for Sculpture and Battleship New Jersey will be closed weekdays throughout January and February.

 Pass policies
Passes will be checked out for 2 days (example: check a pass out on Monday and it will be due back on Wednesday). 
 Reservations may be made up to 2 months in advance by speaking with a reference librarian.
