Loving, Growing, & Serving Together at Harrison...

Christ is risen—and still rising in the quiet places of our lives.

Where hope feels small or unfinished, God is already at work, bringing life where we may not yet see it.

Stay open. New life is closer than you think.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Our next Prayer Shawl Workshop will be held on Wednesday, May 6 at 10:00 AM in Room 108 (Admin Building).

This ministry continues to offer quiet, meaningful care—creating shawls and blankets that are prayed over and shared with those walking through illness, grief, or difficult seasons. Each one becomes a simple reminder of comfort, connection, and presence.

Whether you’ve been part of this ministry before or are just curious, you’re welcome to join. No experience needed—just come as you are.

Yarn donations are also appreciated and help sustain this ongoing work of care.

April Food Drive

Small, everyday items can make a real difference for families facing food insecurity in our community. This month, we’re focusing on practical staples and ready-to-eat options that are easy to use and easy to share.

So far, 1,712 pounds of food have been collected. It’s a strong start and a reminder of what’s possible when we show up together. You’re invited to bring items with you this Sunday or drop them off anytime throughout the month.

Most needed items:

* Canned tuna

* Canned chicken

* Pancake mix

* Syrup

* Individual grit packages

* Vegetable or cooking oil

* Jello cups

* Pudding cups

* Juice boxes

* Pop-Tarts

* Toothpaste

* Canned mandarin oranges

* Gluten-free pasta

* Canned tomatoes

Every item given and every hour shared helps ensure our neighbors have what they need and reminds them they are not alone.

If you’d like to go a step further, you can also serve alongside the Nourish Up pantry team, helping welcome guests, organize food, and be part of the care happening each week.

VBS Registration Open!

June 22–25, 2026

Get ready for one of the most fun and meaningful weeks of the summer—Vacation Bible School is coming, and we need your help to make it happen.

This year, kids will step through the mist into Rainforest Falls—a vibrant world of wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, they’ll dive into an unforgettable adventure, discovering the nature of God and what it means to be deeply rooted in relationship with their Creator—a steady, safe place in life’s storms.

Each day is filled with music, games, hands-on activities, and moments that bring faith to life in ways kids can understand and carry with them long after the week ends.

It takes a community to create a week like this. Whether you love leading, organizing, encouraging, or simply showing up, there’s a place for you to be part of what makes VBS so impactful.
