Lifestyle:

" Loving Ourselves "
February is a month of transition as winter slowly gives way to the warmer days of spring. Early blooming flowers begin to show themselves and the month includes several celebrated days, such as President’s Day, The Chinese New Year— the Lantern Festival and the infamous Valentines Day. The later brings on sadness for some, if they do not have someone in their life to share this romantic “holiday” with. But, for those of you who are in transition—or are choosing solitude this year—be proud that you have the strength, independence and fortitude to celebrate just being you!

Society, and the marketing giants place a great deal of pressure on our romantic norms and memes, with the underlying message, that you are not enough if the perfect card or flowers doesn’t arrive at your doorstep or in your mailbox. I beg to differ. There is no advantage in moving from one relationship to another if we do not first and foremost have a good relationship with ourselves. After all, the vibration we put out—is a pretty good indicator of what we will attract in another.

I believe our own worthiness is something that sets us up for success or failure—and when those qualities create a bifurcation in someone that has caught our eye. The mismatch invariably leads to a strained romantic partnership with some just “cuffing” with another because they are lonely and afraid to be alone. They float from one person to another hoping the next one will fulfill the gaps of despair, depression or denial.

Congratulation if you have a loving relationship to celebrate on February 14th. If you don’t, congratulations that you honor yourself. So, how do we celebrate us? How do we know we are enough and don’t need someone to “complete” us?

First, no amount of hook-ups or dating can fill the gap if we don’t feel love for ourselves first. The neediness of another is actually very draining—-and we can’t create happiness in another no matter how hard we try. That is a job they must do for themselves. The relationship we have with ourselves is the most important relationship we will ever have; honor it!

Below are several suggestions to celebrate you! Depending on your own personal “love language” pick something to honor the divine angel inside you!

1.) Know that you are enough—whole, complete and perfect just the way you are. Write yourself a love letter.

2.) Loving yourself is the best way to learn how to love. Ask, how can I love and honor me? Am I my own best friend?

3.) Being single creates the opportunity for growth and expansion. When we look inside our being as we discover who we are—what we like. We have the ability to create daily joy in our way of being just by being “us”.

4.) If your love language is gifts, then by all means, splurge! Buy yourself a red rose or another favorite flower and enjoy its beauty.

5.) Know, we were all born magnificent. Know that you are worthy as a child of the Universe, placed on this planet to achieve great things. Know that you deserve all that you came to be and do. Know and begin to own your “I Am” presence—the essence of spirit inside. And , know that only good things will attach themselves to you.

As you cultivate your relationship with yourself—you change and grow in ways that are positive and contagious. By releasing things and relationships that no longer serve us in the highest way, we honor our magnificence, regardless of whether we receive flowers, candlelit dinners or boxes of candy. And, —as those things are temporary—and may make us feel good in the moment, they will not create lasting happiness or deep satisfaction.

Love is an inside job; and we are the only ones who can fill our heart with love and compassion for ourselves. To create that we must learn to respect, nurture, honor and cherish ourselves. And, that’s a love worth celebrating 365 days a year! Happy Valentines Day to YOU! The most important person ever!

What Does this mean? Decoding 101
Decoding messages from us to us is something that is coming to light and seeing its way into the mainstream--slowly. There is a connection between our physical health challenges and our mind and spirit. We cannot ignore those other parts of ourselves. We are emotional spiritual multidimensional humans. And, these physical dis-eases indicate we are "out of balance," something is "off kilter." Dis-ease alerts us that there are deep unresolved emotional blocks holding emotional angst at some level. Are we the brave ones to step up to heal our lineage? What was the emotional trauma we experienced as a child? What was so terrible, we have simply blocked it out? The conscious mind likes to ignore and repress that shadow that lurks within. However, our smart body, our innate, and intuition part of the subconscious and cellular memory remembers everything. In 2019, we will explore, just briefly the most common imbalances lying below the surface--a gift waiting to be seen and healed--for good! ❤️

In Shor t - - Cholesterol - MARTEL

Cholesterol is linked to the blood ; it symbolizes the joy in living . Why? Because I no longer have the joy of living! In my deepest inner self, I believe that I have no right to be happy and joyful, and this joy circulates badly!

I take a look at my ‘reasons for living’ - Is my life running along the lines that I wish? I can ask myself whether I do too much or if I worry too much, especially as far as my mother or family are concerned. I might have an increase in cholesterol level after certain events, for example: after retiring, because I have no joy for living as I did when I was with my work colleagues or with people I met through my work.

This can also happen when someone I love and who brings a Love of living disappears from my life. Here, instead of developing diabetes, which is a deep sadness; my body interprets the event as a lack of joy in living and increases the cholesterol level. It might also be when I lose a pet, or any other kind of situation, conscious or unconscious, where my joy in living decreases.

Show Your Light
🌟
What are you supposed to do? Just be, old soul. Go to work and show the light there. Show that you have compassion for those around you. Go home to your family who, perhaps, don't believe this, and don't judge them. Instead, show your compassion to them because you have a piece of God inside you."
~Kryon
Lee: This card exemplifies another one of the consistent, loving teachings of Kryon. The statement on this card is actually an answer to the following question: "As a lightwkrker and old soul in this new energy, how can I best give people this great message of hope for humanity?"

Kryon's answer doesn't match what most people think it might be. Kryon is basically saying, "Just be." But the Just be is an energy which teaches everything. Love, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, patience . . . are all the attributes that Kryon says are catalytic. That means that they are light in the darkness, and can change everything around you.

Do you have any friends associates, or relatives who think you're a little strange because of what you believe? When required to be with them, how do you react to this? In the past, you might have defended yourself, or tried to get them to understand, or just gone away angry. But Kryon says to forget all that and just love them.

🏵 🏵 🏵
Kryon is often described as a loving entity, who gives messages of peace and empowerment for humanity. Just as with Archangel Michael, these messages are channelled through Humans. Currently, there are several divine Humans all over the planet who channel Kryon. However Lee Carroll is the original Kryon channel and has been delivering Kryon messages since 1989.

DNA ACTIVATION ART
Interdimensional messages come in many different forms. This art by artist Deb DeLisi helps others to connect to their divine inner light. Deb's art activates the pineal gland through visual stimulation, opening access to other dimensions. She writes, "every painting reaches people by carrying sound, color and dimension.Color is special in that it is a channel for light and sound, which can bring healing on many levels. There is an energetic connection between art and the person viewing it. This channel of Light connects the frequencies of the art to each individual and aligns them with what they need at the moment. Healing, dreams, manifestation, third eye activation and Lemurian memories are some of the possible experiences you may have. Enjoy!"

Recipe of the Month:
Heart Shaped - Red Velvet Cake

Bon Appetite!

" The Red Cake"
n the
YIELD:  12 serving
PREP TIME:  3 hours

This is a recipe with a wonderful story behind it. It is one my ex-Mother-in-law shared with me. It was given to her from a friend in the mid-seventies. The friend gave it out to many after requesting it from the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in NYC and several weeks later a received a receipt for a $500.00 dollar charge.. I have made it for nearly 40 years, and enjoy it every time I do! The comments, were very positive and one said it didn't taste like the store bought red velvet, and loved the flavor and frosting of this particular cake. Another said, I had hit it out of the park once again! For this occasion, I baked it in a heart-shaped pan and decorated it with power sugared coated fresh strawberries.

What you will need:

  • For the Cake:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 1 oz. red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups Gold Medal "Wondra" flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar

  • For the Frosting:
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3 Tablespoons "Wondra" flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Garnish: as desired with fresh fruit, sprinkles, etc. Let your creativity shine!

DIRECTIONS- Before you begin, grease and flour two 9" round cake pans (or your baking pan of choice) Set oven at 350º.

  • Blend the sugared butter until they are very light and creamy. Next beat in the eggs, one at a time until the mixture is smooth.
  • Next, in a small bowl, mix the cocoa and red food coloring to a "paste" consistency. Add vanilla.
  • If not using the bread maker, knead the dough with the softened butter for about 5 minutes, until it turns soft and elastic.Gradually fold step 2 into sugar mixture and blend well.

  • Gently, combine flour and buttermilk to your sugar mixture and blend well again.

  • Mix the baking soda and the vinegar and add it to the cake mixture, and blend until batter is smooth and well incorporated.

  • Equally divide the mixture into your greased and floured cake pans and bake for 30 minutes. (If using a single pan, it will require a longer baking pan.) Test for doneness.

  • After cake is done, cool 10-15 minutes and then turn onto a rack and let the cake cool completely to room temperature.

  • While cooling your cake, you can begin the frosting.

  • FROSTING-INGREDIENTS/Directions

  • 1 cup whole milk, preferably organic
  • 3 Tablespoons Wondra flour
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • Mix milk and flour with wire whisk in a double boiler until it bubbles and gets thick like pudding. Remove from heat.(THIS IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT AND DETERMINES THE SUCCESS OF YOUR FROSTING! IT SHOULD BE THICK LIKE GLUE. A QUICK TEST IS ONCE COOLED, TURN THE PAN UPSIDE DOWN, AND IT WILL NOT FALL OUT.)

  • In another bowl, or mix master, cream butter and sugar together until they are light and fluffy. Add vanilla.

  • Next, combine cold flour/milk mixture with sugar mixture and blend until smooth. Set aside.

  • Slice each cake layer in half. (When finished, you will have four layers). When cake has cooled, spread frosting carefully on the cake. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

  • Decorate as desired. Enjoy!!

Cathy's notes: This dessert has been a favorite for years. It works well for the Christmas holidays too. I have made two cakes--one green and another red for a beautiful combination. I don't usually do two desserts back to back in my newsletters, but this was by special request. Perhaps, it will become a family favorite for you as well!Which baker in your family will it inspire today? Also, a special acknowledgment to Steven McPherson @Film Runner Media for his amazing photography.Thank you!

Biological Decoding Here Today
Conflicts and trauma are sometimes obvious and sometimes not and make their presence known to us as dis-ease and imbalance in our lives; manifesting in our body.  Weight issues or acne are obvious to most, but what are the traumas, loyalties and imbalances locked away in diabetes, heart disease, cancer, or behind simple allergies and minor illnesses given labels or the diagnosis's we receive at the doctor's office? Do you want healing or just relief?

The premise is easy. Disease and sicknesses are "nothing more" than emotional conflict(s) or trauma, --lessons to learn (that may be passed down from our ancestors) running in an "invisible" field of energy unknown or unrealized to us until it emerges as our brain's (the ultimate computer) solution for the disturbance deep within our psyche. More simply, the first law of Biological Decoding states: "Every pain or disease originates from a conflict. The conflict is an unexpected, highly acute, and isolating shock that occurs simultaneously in the PSYCHE, the BRAIN, and part of the BODY that corresponds to the type of conflict. Discovering the conflict aids the brain in sending messages to repair the body".

If we are human, we all have unresolved emotional conflicts. Heal them for yourselves--heal them for your kids and break the pattern. Biological Decoding goes hand-in-hand with our allopathic medicine today which addresses the mechanical aspects of our disease.

How can I help you today?

The Biology of Decoding is an amazing tool to assist in the discovery of the root cause of dis-ease.  This discovery and decoding opens the door to healing, deepens spiritual understanding of who we are and releases limiting beliefs and patterns.

"If the mind doth bend, disease can end."
