This year marks the 25th anniversary for Lowell's Winterfest, Feb 21-22nd. This beloved, long-standing event is a fan-favorite for Lowellians.
This unique two-day event embraces the fun and excitement of our coldest season. Kicking off Friday, February 21st at 6pm with opening ceremonies in the Enterprise Bank Music Tent.
The event includes entertainment, a soup competition, ice carvings, sculptures, chocolate festival, family fun, and food trucks. In addition to the music, local handmade goods will be available at the Experience Lowell Arts Market.
Saturday, February 22 boasts a day of activities to fight the winter blues, including:
- The Richard Rourke Memorial Soup Competition at 12:00 PM
- Live music in the Enterprise Bank Music Tent, beginning at 12:00 PM
- The Experience Lowell Arts Market, produced by Mosaic Lowell, from 12:00 - 7:00 PM
- St. Anne’s Chocolate Festival from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Fire sculptures on Palmer Street
- Live ice sculpture carving on Palmer Street
- The 3rd annual WinterFest Scavenger Hunt, all day
- Mosaic Lowell’s Youth Mural Competition with voting open all day
