Lower School News
This is the final Lower School News that I will write as I will be retiring from Roycemore after 34 years, 20 years as Lower School Division Head. I want to thank everyone for being so supportive and caring throughout my time at this marvelous school, where kids are really valued and everyone tries to the best of their ability to make a fabulous environment for our children. Roycemore is a school where kids feel it is a second home, and as does the faculty. That is why it is difficult to say goodbye to all of you. The one thing I know is I am leaving Lower School into wonderful hands. I know that Darcy Aksamitowski will be amazing and take Lower School to new heights.

Everyone, please keep in touch and let me know all the wonderful things your families are doing.

A big HUG to everyone.

Le Livre de Moi-
Over the past couple months of remote learning, the second, third, and fourth graders have been busy creating their own hand-made books all in French. The title and back page aside, the book is 12 pages long and provides a complete autobiographical portrait of each child.  Not only was the book fun to make, the content of the book is real-life based and personally meaningful, all while showcasing the students’ vast knowledge of the French language.  Please enjoy a look inside one of the books written by Simone from the second grade.
To learn the basics of physics and engineering principles, the 3rd Graders learn all about bridges and how they are constructed. Even with Remote Learning, they were able to construct their own bridges.
