The Great Hearts Northern Oaks Spring Concert is quickly approaching. We are looking forward to families seeing all the hard work our Griffins have put in during the Spring semester!
The Spring Concert for lower school will be on May 3rd, 2024.
The Kinder-2nd grade and 6th grade concert will be at 5:30 PM. Followed by the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade concert at 7:15 PM.
Our performance will be at Trinity Baptist Church at 319 E. Mulberry, San Antonio, TX 78212. All regular parking needs should occur on Mulberry Street across from the Church. Those who need handicapped accessibility are asked to park behind the church (this parking lot can be accessed off Shook Ave). All sections of each grade will perform together as a choir.
Students are required to stay for the entire concert since they will be singing a final combined piece, and because they are being graded on their audience etiquette in addition to their on-stage performance.
Students are to wear Concert Dress Attire.
Boys should wear a white oxford-style shirt, black slacks, a black belt, black dress shoes and socks, and a tasteful tie or bow tie preferably in school colors (no pop culture or musical ties).
Girls should wear a white blouse (no halter tops or spaghetti straps), a black skirt (knee-length or longer), black dress shoes (no high heels), and appropriate undergarments. Girls may also wear a solid black dress if this is preferable. Sneakers or athletic shoes are not permitted. More details about arrival times for students will be given as the concert date approaches.
