GENUIN Classics recently released her debut album, "Emalie Savoy: A Portrait" , to universal acclaim. Winner of the First Prize in Voice at the prestigious 2015 ARD International Music Competition in Munich, Germany, she debuted at The Metropolitan Opera in 2012 as Kristina in Leoš Janáček’s  The Makropulos Case .

Steinway Artist and Babcock Professor of Piano at Converse College, Douglas Weeks gives his final solo recital that will feature Schubert’s Sonata in B-flat major, which was completed two months before Schubert’s death and has struck listeners as his premature communication from the beyond. Concluding the recital will be Schumann’s Kreisleriana.

Both the Schubert and the Schumann are among Dr. Weeks’ most favorite works for solo piano. Dr. Douglas Weeks will be retiring at the end of the Spring 2020 term after serving 38 years on the Petrie School of Music faculty.
