The Luck o' Pondo

Oh, Ponderosa... definitely a camp favorite. With it's rustic log style, majestic presence, and cozy feel, Ponderosa is one of our favorites too. That's why we're continuing to work on improving the integrity and functionality of this special building. Registered as a state and National Historic building, it is up to us to preserve our iconic Ponderosa and help it to last as long as possible.

We've custom built cabinets to provide the perfect kitchenette in the already improved side room. Now, this is a wonderful multi-function room gives Ponderosa a fresh new functionality that will improve your event here. And there is no shortcuts on quality. In fact, we are so lucky that our own Buildings and Grounds Director, Tim Cole, is such a great builder - this custom cabinet and counter-top are far nicer than we could have purchased pre-built! Thank you Tim, for your hard work and energy spent overtime for this lovely and functional improvement to our beloved, and lucky Ponderosa.

And the improvements still aren't stopping there! We love Ponderosa just as much (or more!) than guests, so you better believe that we're continuing the TLC for this State and National Historic treasure. Keep your eyes out for future news and awesome updates!

Summer Camp 2018

Something's Movin' in the Forest 2018 Daycamp is a special week for the kids. Days full of exploring, wonder, and outdoor learning! We start the morning with a nice physical warm up, then with our maps in hand, we head out hiking. Every day has art time as well as movement and physical challenges. Kids will be outside, enjoying the woodland setting all day! Swim time is included each day too; and smiles...lots and lots of smiles!

Make this summer filled with unforgettable experiences for your children. During summertime, kids should be out and about in the sunshine as much as possible, and have plenty of chances to explore and play. They'll learn a lot too - but so much better than school - It feels like recess all day long!

Mark your calendars and sign up now! Sign up for one week or both.
See you this summer!
June 11 - 15th 2018

Swimming every day!
A brisk dip at camp every morning helps ease the kids' tired hiking-muscles.

Ready, aim, fire!
Campers love the challenge of archery. We'll have two days of target practice.

** Our camp guest visitors "Jellybean" and "Mackie" make camp an unforgettable memory for kids! They love coming to camp too!**
