Luke the Evangelist

Welcome back Fr. Julian!

8:45 am Matins

10:00 am Divine Liturgy

  • Remarks on toddlers' and young children's participation in the Services. We love to have our church filled with children, young families, and parishioners of all ages! However, for the sake of everyone having a good eucharistic experience, we recommend the following:

> Toddlers and young children have a very limited attention span of 5-15 minutes.

> If they cry and cannot be consoled, or if they cannot stop making loud noises, take them outside or into the church hall for a few minutes. Please do this as many times as needed until the child understands that in the church we need to be as quiet as possible.

> Ensure you return to church for the children's sermon and Holy Communion.

> It is acceptable for parents, grandparents, or chaperones to have limited participation in the Divine Liturgy because they cared for the young ones and still receive Holy Communion if properly prepared.
