Autumn is Here!

Where did summer go? The Autumnal Equinox happened 2 days ago, but it feels like the summer heat is just hitting Cambria.

I'm so excited to welcome Barry Klein and Heidi Berger from Trendsetter Yarns in the shop this weekend. The fun starts on Friday with a FREE Trunk Show and Wine Tasting event @ 5PM. My good friend Karin Argano will be pouring wines from the local Bassetti Family Vineyards.

I've expanded my Poema line from Laines du Nord to include the new Poema Mohair yarn and the newest colors of Poema Cashmere.

Poema Mohair is a magnificent mohair/silk blend with a stunning gradient. It is made of 75% Kid Mohair and 25% silk and is a perfect carry-along yarn to add gorgeous gradual gradient color and softness. Or you can knit it alone to make a fluffy scarf. The Ball & Skein Broken Rib Scarf uses 1 ball!

Poema Cashmere was new last year and this year's colors are even more stunning. I used 1 ball to knit a beautiful Boneyard Shawl! It is so soft and light.
