This year’s Fall Federal Hike the Hill marked a milestone for the Louisiana Credit Union Association powered by Luminate, as this was our first hill visit since the rebrand. We had the opportunity to meet with our entire federal delegation, where we discussed key legislative issues including:

• H.R. 3881/S. 1838 - The Credit Card Competition Act,
• H.R. 9303/S. 4943 - The Protecting Consumers From Payment Scams Act,
• Proposed changes to the Federal Home Loan Bank Mission Statement.

These discussions allowed us to strengthen relationships and reinforce the importance of Louisiana credit union priorities. The meetings were highly constructive and will support our ongoing advocacy efforts.

We will recap the outcomes of these meetings during our 3rd Quarter Advocacy Call tomorrow at 10am, along with insights from our recent advocacy survey. The success of this hike underscores the power of engagement and collaboration. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this hill hike a success.
