Happy Cinco de Mayo!

I’m privileged to represent DRMA at a lot of cool events – and last week was no exception as I traveled to New Orleans with a group of local education and workforce development professionals for Jobs for the Future’s Pathways to Prosperity conference. Montgomery County ESC works closely with Jobs for the Future and leads a delegation of local leaders who attend the conference to gain insights on career outreach efforts and learn about best practices from across the country – all of which help us build our talent pipeline. Our region is known as a national leader in implementing career outreach efforts to support students as they advance from high school to postsecondary education into fulfilling careers like manufacturing.

The ideas we take back from conferences like Pathways to Prosperity drive our workforce initiatives – which will be celebrated Thursday at our Workforce Shoptalk. The 2025-26 school year saw numerous successes, and we look forward to recognizing our amazing volunteers who help us spread the word about great jobs available in our industry.
