Miss Widner's News
Dear Parents, Students, Grandparents, and Staff,
First Communion was awesome! Congratulations to our 2nd graders and their families. Both Masses were prayerful, spiritual, and the children did an excellent job singing their special song. Coming up on May 24 is our May Crowning after the 9:00 Mass. We invite everyone to this special event!
On Tuesday, we had some middle school students present their College and Career Readiness C3 Power Points to their parents. Eight students did an awesome job presenting their goals, aspirations and articulated their power point:
8th- Bea Burton, Genevieve Cicchiello, Jose Solis, Eddie Stronczek 7th- Parker Schimmele, Lily Dippold, Ellie Leja
6th- Luke Ellis
Congratulations to these students! What potential these young men and women showed while presenting!
As a reminder, if you have a concern about a class placement, we typically do not take requests; however, we do understand if a parent has a concern about a specific placement. If you do have a concern, please send an email to me at lwidner@seascsfw.org by

May 17 with an explanation. We will not take requests after that. Some of the teachers are working on ways to welcome their students over the summer so that is why we need to have an end date.
The virtue of Respect continues throughout the month of May. I hope you enjoyed the document last week that you can place on somewhere in your home so it is a daily reminder. We have another one this week called "The Daily 12 Reminders." The daily reminders center around RESPECT. This can be here at school, at home, in the work place, on the court- you name the place, RESPECT should be present! Enjoy the reminders!
Finally, please keep Mrs. Widner (kindergarten teacher) in your prayers. Her mother passed away last Friday. This week, she is with her family in Arkansas.

Have a wonderful week!
Miss Widner
Principal
