Lunch at the Library starts Monday, June 15 and runs until July 24. Enjoy a free, nutritious lunch at the Downtown Library this summer! Kids and teens are invited to join weekdays for lunch, books, and engaging activities focused on food, farming and healthy living. 

When: Monday–Friday, 12–1pm from June 15–July 24

Where: Downtown Library, 1044 Middlefield Rd, Redwood City

Arrive early on Fridays, beginning June 26, at 11am for Fun Fridays: Fresh Experiences Before Lunch, featuring hands-on programs with farmers, beekeepers, and live animals that bring the journey from farm to table to life.

Starting on July 1, 2026, Medi-Cal will stop covering dental services for some adult members, except for emergencies. This change is based on immigration status. The change only affects Medi-Cal members who are aged 19 and older and do not qualify for federal full-scope Medi-Cal.
