Join Juliana Hansveden, a well-known emerging markets portfolio manager with an explicit focus on sustainability, in looking at structural areas of growth in the region and how investors may harness these in their portfolios.

Joined the industry in 2007

Juliana is a portfolio manager in the Sustainable Equity team within the Multi-Asset capability at Ninety One and is responsible for the Emerging Markets Sustainable Equity strategy.



Prior to joining the firm, Juliana was the lead portfolio manager of the multi-billion euro Emerging Stars and the Asian Stars equity strategies at Nordea Asset Management. Both strategies were at the forefront of sustainable investing in Emerging Markets. The Emerging Stars equity strategy was awarded two Morning star ratings; a 5 Star performance rating and 5 Globe sustainability rating.

Before this Juliana held roles with First Swedish National Pension Fund (AP1) as a global equity analyst and assistant portfolio manager, and at BlackRock analysing European equities before becoming an associate and covering Asia ex-Japan equities in the Global Emerging Markets Equity team.

Juliana has a Master of Science in Economics & Business from Stockholm School of Economics and has also studied at Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Paris (HEC Paris).
