A Note from Miss Debbie
Yay, Summer! We made it through another school year and what a year it has been! We have all had to adjust, and readjust, to so many new ways of doing things! The staff at the Lunenburg Library has totally revamped our summer program for this year and hope that you find it as fun and exciting as we do!
If you're excited to get started, click this
for an informational packet which will give you all the great details and hopefully answer all your questions. Need more? Call the library at 978 582-4140 or
email Miss Debbie
and we’ll get back to you asap!
I also want to announce that Lunenburg Public Library owned children's books will be fine free beginning the first week of our Summer Reading Program! The Board of Trustees, library staff, and library director have been working to remove this barrier to access. We still ask you to return items on time, so that other readers can enjoy items, too! If a book is lost, you will still be responsible for the replacement fee, but we will be doing away with the daily fines for items that are late.
As an additional promotion for Summer Reading, we will also be forgiving up to $10 of overdue fines for Children's books, if you return ALL of your late items. This promotion will run the week of June 29th, so make sure to get all your library items back to us before that week, and then contact us after your items have gone through quarantine and been checked in to forgive your fines. If you have questions about the fine free program or the promotion, please check out this
