THIS WEEKEND AT HOPE:
You Were Made for More
"Counter the Culture"
Dear HOPEsters,

Too many of us feel stuck. At best, reality teaches us that life is a Bittersweet Symphony (cue The Verve), more bitter than sweet, and we can't change. At worst, we can't get no satisfaction (cue Mick Jagger & The Rolling Stones ) no matter how hard we try!

Let me suggest, however, a deeper truth - you were made for more, you can change, and you can find satisfaction, even in a fallen world. In fact, rather than chasing after meaning in life on some sort of elusive personal quest, God wants to bring the gift of his perfect will for you straight into your heart, soul and mind ... not just someday in heaven, but right here and right now, as we gather together for worship as a church family throughout the month of November!

Discover how to break the spell of the Typical (cue MuteMath) for yourself as we embark on a new 4-week sermon series at Hope called You Were Made for More, starting this weekend, all based on just one key life-changing chapter of the Bible - Romans 12.

Bring a Bible and tell your friends!

Peace,
Mike Housholder

PS- Please remember to set your clocks back one hour - "fall back" - this weekend, meaning we'll all be one extra hour of sleep fresher for Sunday worship!

PPS- Holy Communion is available for all at all services on this All Saints' weekend: I'll preach Saturday night (5:00 pm); Sunday morning (8:00, 8:30, 9:15 & 11:00 am), Pastor Jeremy will preach Sunday night (5:00 pm), and Pastor Andy will preach Tuesday night (6:30 pm).
