Luton Live returns this weekend
Another one of our popular Luton Live events will take place on St George's Square on Saturday 8th July.
The family-friendly performances this time will include pop duo, Rylands Heath, street dance crew, the Rhythm Junkies, and vintage vocalist, Rebecca Jayne.
This is the third year the BID has been running outdoor entertainment events, designed to boost visitor numbers and bring a vibrant scene to the town centre streets.

Tidy Day success
Thank you to the 18 volunteers from Luton town centre businesses who rallied together to help clean up the streets during our Tidy Day last Friday.
The two-hour clean-up took place on 30th June as part of the BID's wider street cleaning programme to improve the appearance and overall feel of the town centre.
Collingdon Street, Liverpool Road, Upper George Street and Dunstable Place were among the areas targeted. Wellington Street, King Street, Park Street and Chapel Street were also cleaned as part of the programme.
The team included employees from The Mall, Debenhams and Youthscape - and together they collected 21 bags of litter.

Celebrating independent retailers
The BID will be focusing on local independent retailers throughout July to tie in with the national campaign - Independent Retailer Month.
The Ambassadors will be taking pictures of shops and sharing their details via the BID's social media channels to promote and celebrate the important role independent retailers play within the town and economy.
