Busking area on Bute Street
The stage on Bute Street is now being used as a busking area.
Buskers who are
licensed through Luton Borough Council now have the opportunity to book hour-long slots on the Bute Street stage, to give a varied array of entertainment and enhance the atmosphere of the town centre.
Buskers can visit the Bute Street stage area on the day they wish to perform and add their name to the chalk board where terms and conditions of use are also available.

Improving evening economy safety
Luton BID is delighted to be working with Luton SAFE, Bedfordshire Police and Luton Borough Council on various initiatives to improve safety at evening economy venues.
High visibility jackets are now being worn by door staff at town centre venues - a project the BID is working closely with Luton SAFE on.
Following discussions with Bedfordshire Police, Luton BID is also providing metal detecting wands to evening economy businesses to help improve safety. Businesses receiving the wands will get full training from Bedfordshire Police.
A new Luton BID evening economy guide which will highlight the diverse town centre offer is coming soon too. Our guide will be available at the end of September. If you would like some guides for your teams or customers, please email us
HERE or call 01582 510657.
