Tomorrow's Luton BID Linked Update meeting offers Luton BID businesses the opportunity to meet with our BID Project Manager, Fergus McLardy, find out more about Luton BID’s current activities and what we have planned and have a say on what Luton BID should be working on.

Luton BID Linked - General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) workshop
 
Date: Thursday 26th April, 8.30am
Venue: Tokko, 7 Gordon Street
 
GDPR will affect every UK organisation holding or processing personal data and will be enforced through substantial fines .
 
This seminar will discuss pro-active steps businesses can take to safeguard their business and the legal obligations. Advice on the type of policies, procedures and documentation businesses will need to implement before this key legislation comes into force, and how to prevent issues from arising will also be provided.

International Street Market success
Luton’s St George’s Square came alive during our four-day International Street Market last week and we have been receiving some fantastic comments from people who attended and businesses.

The outdoor street market was made possible through partnership with Market Place Europe and was all about adding to the shopping experience, and giving people more reasons to spend longer in our town centre.

Op Vision
We will be joining up with Bedfordshire Police and other local agencies on Monday 9th April for Op Vision.

The event is aimed at people working and building businesses in Luton town centre and will provide an opportunity for the key organisations to promote their work.
