Successful Luton Live event and footfall numbers are up again...
First Luton Live of 2017
The BID's exciting programme of Spring/Summer Luton Live events kicked off this Saturday.
The talented acts who performed in St George's Square included a steel pan band, a preview of Luton Carnival
, theatre and dance performances and a juggling painter and decorator who ran interactive circus skills workshops.
Luton Live events are entirely funded by the BID and will run throughout the spring summer. The next one is on Saturday 10th June.

Impressive footfall figures
Luton town centre visitor numbers are up by 1.6%
against last year.
These footfall statistics from independent data specialists Springboard come as positive news
to town centre businesses, with town centres in the UK reporting an average increase of just 0.3% and the
South East 0.7% against 2016 figures.

Nails and beauty specialists, Happy Nails, now open in George Street

The Dress House - wedding dress specialists based on Guildford Street
