Luton BID is conducting a mid-term review of the BIDs progress.
The BID started in 2015 and as such we are now just past the half way point of its current five-year term, so it is timely to offer you the opportunity to have your say and influence what happens next.
Throughout September Luton town centre businesses are invited to meet with one of our surveyors and take part in our Luton BID Business Survey. This is your opportunity to give us feedback on the success and progress of current BID projects and your views on Luton town centre.
Your responses will help us shape future BID activity. To request an appointment please call 01582 510657 or email
info@lutonbid.org and one of the team will be in contact to set a time and date for your meeting.
See the questions in advance by downloading the survey
HERE. We would prefer to meet with you in person but if you prefer you can complete the form yourself and return it to the BID office.
Volunteers at our June 2017 tidy day
Join our Tidy Morning in Luton town centre
All Luton town centre businesses are invited to take part in our third Tidy Morning of 2017. The two-hour clean-up will take place on Friday 29
th September from 8.30am to 10.30am as part of our wider street cleaning programme designed to improve the appearance and overall feel of the town centre.
Over 40 volunteers from a range of Luton town centre businesses took part in each of our tidy events earlier this year, together collecting a total of 42 bags of litter.
Luton Borough Council will be supporting the event by providing an operative to pick up sharp objects where necessary and collect the waste at the end of the event.

Metal detecting wands
Luton BID has teamed up with Luton SAFE to help make our town centre venues safer and more appealing to visit.
We are now able to offer all town centre licensed venues the opportunity to have a high-tech metal detecting wand and training from Bedfordshire Police as to how to use it correctly.
These wands will enable venues to ensure no one is carrying a knife or other metal object.
