Vote YES for the Luton BID Renewal!

Ballot papers have now been sent out to all businesses’ rate paying addresses for properties in the BID area.

Information regarding the ballot has also been sent out with a printed copy of the BID Prospectus. Businesses will have until 5pm on Thurs 31st October to return their ballot paper for it to be counted.

The first priority in the new business plan which launched last month is to continue and build on the ongoing promotion of Luton Town Centre. 

Already established projects such as the measuring of footfall and celebrating customer service excellence via awards schemes will continue to promote the vast offering available in the area, whilst there will be more emphasis put on working together with others to showcase the offering available in Luton and to build on major ongoing marketing and promotion across a plethora of platforms and channels to better establish the packed calendar of year-round events.

‘The BID enables us to bring an enormous range of events to the Town Centre that help us to show to residents and visitors alike the vast cultural offering in Luton – Celebrate Luton Street Fest, Luton Live, Diwali, Hat District Public art and the Christmas Light Switch on are just a few of the events that the Town benefits from each year. These, combined with lots of promotion via printed and digital channels will certainly help to showcase all that is great about Luton Town Centre.’
